Milton town meeting going home for a night

When the annual town meeting starts deliberating on the town’s future, it will do so with a nod to its past.

The opening session of town meeting May 7 will be held at First Parish Church as part of the town’s 350th anniversary celebration. (Read teh full story here.)

Two more pull papers for clerk: Duffy and Conlin

The number of residents interested in the Town Clerk seat just increased by two more: Current Planning Board member Ed Duffy and David Conlin of Precinct 6. That makes a total of six. Is there anyone in town who has not thought of entering this race?

Mike Joyce makes it official – he’s in the running for Town Clerk

Notice: Shooting on Belvoir Road

At approximately 6 pm tonight, Milton Police Communications received multiple 911 calls reporting a disturbance on Belvoir Road. First responding units were informed that two subjects had just fled  inside a dark-colored sedan with tinted windows  possibly a Nissan or a Honda. These men had fired several shots at the victim.

Forbes House Museum compiles list of Irish Immigrants, 19th & 20th century workers

Forbes House Museum has begun exploration in two projects that focus on Irish heritage themes. The projects, directly connected to the history of the Forbes family in Milton and specifically Captain Robert Bennet Forbes, are being organized by FHM staff along with English/History Intern, Keri Kennedy, a junior at Curry College, Milton.
