The season of winter and waiting is over,
The note of the robin is heard on the air,
And fresh from his nesting the Golfer awakens
To welcome glad springtime, so winsome and fair.

Help clean up Milton!

Sustainable Milton and Milton DPW will be hosting Milton Clean-Up Day again this year on Saturday May 3th, 2014 (formerly Milton Green Day).  School groups, sports teams, neighborhood associations, town clubs, Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops and church/temple groups are encouraged to sign up now to take part in this great town-wide event.  This is an opportunity to ascend on areas around town that need a good spring cleaning and make Milton beautiful.

Traffic Advisory: DCR’s Monthly Street Sweeping. Vehicle owners urged to obey “No Parking” signs on designated sweeping days.

MPC Notice: Vibrant Use Districts Roundtable re-scheduled

The Master Plan Committee announces that the Vibrant Mixed Use Districts Master Plan Roundtable that was originally scheduled for April 10 has been rescheduled for April 30 at Glover at 7pm.
The Housing and Neighborhoods Roundtable originally scheduled for April 15 will be postponed to June and that people should watch the Milton Times, www.02186.mytownmatters.com and the Town Calendar for further details. These roundtables have been rescheduled because of conflicts with other scheduled events.

The Rusty Blades had to play 5 games in 48 hours in order to lock up a final 4-3 victory in the final game and win the Stinky Socks 2014 Tournament Championship. The Rusty Blades were well represented by a host of Milton residents who coach and/or have many children in the Milton Youth Hockey Program.

Our newly renovated library celebrates its 5th birthday this month.  It has come a long way since 2009; the new building, new director and staff have brought many great services and programs to the Milton community.
