More than 18 years after Milton murder, suspect is found

Here are some of the top stories from Milton in 2014:

Police had known for 18 years who probably killed 23-year-old Rolando Coxon on Christmas Day 1995. Young investigator John King, now the town’s deputy police chief, found Coxon’s bloodied and bound body, wrapped in a blanket and plastic, on the side of Walnut Street, within sight of town hall. On Saturday, January 17 from 9am to 1pm, join Kaplan and the teen department for a FREE college prep event and take full length practice test of the SAT. All of their practice tests are proctored like an actual test, except your scores won’t go on record. You will receive test scores back 1-2 weeks after the exam.

Ebenezer is looking for a new home for the New Year

He is a super-affectionate lapcat with a unique purr who gets along well with other cats. Milton man is named next state education chief

This photo was taken at the funeral for NYPD officer Ramos. From left to right are Milton officer Bill Bulger, Lt. Tom Wilson and Sgt. Chuck Caputo. On the far right is Milton native and NYPD Sergeant Tim Schultz who worked in the Crime analysis unit at MPD in the 1990’s. He is currently assigned to the Chinatown precinct in Manhattan. The MPD noted on their Facebook page that it was “One bright moment on a very somber day….”

Dodgeball tournament for Gr 5 – 7
