Police had known for 18 years who probably killed 23-year-old Rolando Coxon on Christmas Day 1995. Young investigator John King, now the town’s deputy police chief, found Coxon’s bloodied and bound body, wrapped in a blanket and plastic, on the side of Walnut Street, within sight of town hall. This photo was taken at the funeral for NYPD officer Ramos. From left to right are Milton officer Bill Bulger, Lt. Tom Wilson and Sgt. Chuck Caputo. On the far right is Milton native and NYPD Sergeant Tim Schultz who worked in the Crime analysis unit at MPD in the 1990’s. He is currently assigned to the Chinatown precinct in Manhattan. The MPD noted on their Facebook page that it was “One bright moment on a very somber day….”
