DPW notice: ***Delay in Trash Collection***

Due to the New Year’s Day Holiday on Wednesday January 1, 2014 there will be a one delay in service starting on Thursday 01/02.

Monday 12/30 and Tuesday 12/31, 2013 are regular trash/recycling pickup days. Wednesday January 1, 2014 NO COLLECTIONS on that day due to the holiday. Instead we will resume collections on Thursday 01/02 with a one day delay continuing till Saturday 01/04. All the Best for the New Year! Milton DPW

Joyce Congratulates Pierce Middle School on Grant

School receives $29,040 from Race to the Top program

Senator Brian A. Joyce is extending his congratulations to the faculty, staff and students of Pierce Middle School on being awarded a Professional Practice Innovation Grant from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Pierce was one of six schools chosen out of sixty statewide to receive funding.

Registration for baseball is now open

Reminder: St. Michael’s Episcopal Church Invites Community to Christmas Services

On Tuesday, December 24, Christmas Eve services begin at 3pm with the Children’s Pageant and Cathedral Choir. Children of all ages are invited to attend and enjoy this family-friendly service that tells of Christ’s coming and includes the Holy Communion. The Christmas Eve 5:30pm service includes the Holy Communion and music from the Chancel Choir, Schola Cantorum, and Westminster Brass.
