DPW Notice: Hazardous Waste Collection Day

On Saturday, September 20, 2014, the Milton Department of Public Works will hold a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Day for Milton residents. Collection hours are from 9 a.m. to noon. No early arrivals!

Water Babies at Fuller Village

water babiesFuller Village is offering a water babies swim class for tots age 6 -18 months. The class is designed to introduce water acclimation and safety techniques through songs, toys and body movement. Join the fun and interact with other babies in our beautiful, heated, shallow water pool.

Looking for a clue

One of the neighborhood pets is in the doghouse, hiding with an absconded with toy.  Who’s the pet and what’s the toy?  That was the premise of the Clue, Jr. Festival at the Milton Public Library this past Saturday.  Eighty people, parents and children ages 4-11, participated in the fully-subscribed program that ran in four sessions.

We just want to send a friendly reminder how important it is to lock your homes. For residents who are home during the day, we have a simple request, “Be A Little Nosey.”

Mystery Trivia Night at Abby Park

Trivia teams return to vie for prizes based on mysteries and detectives from TV, movies, and literature. A fun Trivia Night with family and friends come sto Abby Park Restaurant, 550 Adams Street in Milton on Sunday, September 28 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Participants will enjoy free appetizers, cash bar and a special discount menu.

Thanks to your support and hard work, the 12th Suffolk district overwhelmingly sent me back to Beacon Hill last Tuesday in a four-way primary with 67% of the vote! It was a fun summer on the campaign trail, but I’m excited to be back at work fighting for the issues you care about in the State House.
