Chief John Grant, Milton: Counting the true cost of fire

Last week, Massachusetts lost three residents to fire. Two young boys, 4- and 9-years-old, died in a fatal blaze in a six-bedroom multi-family home in Lawrence after becoming trapped in their third-floor bedroom. Neighbors and family members were unable to reach them and the fire spread too quickly for firefighters to save them. (Read the full story here.)
Girls Volleyball moving on in playoffs
The MHS Girls Volleyball team the first round of the MIAA Central Div 2 Volleyball Tournament beating St. Peter Marian of Worcester 3-0. They will take on #2 Dedham this Monday in Canton. Come one come all to this years 14th annual Turkey Trot. The trot is set for Thanksgiving morning at 8:00 a.m. This 5k trot starts and finishes at Turners Pond (central Ave side.)
