Milton Dentists Offer Free Dental Sealants to Underserved Children

The American Dental Association launched the Give Kids A Smile Program nationally in 2003 as a way for dentists across the country to join with others in their community to provide dental services to underserved children. Each year dentists and team members volunteer their time and services to approximately 450,000 children across the nation.

During the month of March, Drs. Kimberly and David Harte will provide free dental sealants to the children of any family finding themselves financially challenged due to the economy or insufficientdental converage.

Teen Study Skills Workshop

On Tuesday, April 7 after school from 3 to 4:30pm, the Milton Public Library teen department welcomes back English teacher and tutor, Eliza Wagner Srestha to host her study skills workshop after school for any teens in grades 6 to 12. The session will be experiential and hands-on focusing on Homework and Organization.

Pierce Middle School Students Explore Ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt

The Pierce Middle School library was transformed into a mini-museum last month, as part of an MPACE-sponsored program to help students visualize the ancient world.

?All Pierce sixth-graders were allowed the opportunity to view the display, which was a collection of more than 75 reproductions of ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman artifacts.

As a thirteen-year residents I, along with my wife Piel, who serves as Town Meeting member and board member of the Milton Foundation for Education, are proud Milton residents and Tucker parents. The Milton Public Library has served as a central part of our children’s upbringing as it is the cultural center of our community.

Six years ago, a group of Fuller Village residents undertook the daunting project of producing a collection of memoirs aptly entitled We Remember When. What motivated them to undertake that project was their realization that Fuller Village is made up of a unique cross section of independent senior citizens, each having one or more very special memories.
