Milton Reads! Family Olympics! Saturday, March 21

Faster! Higher! Stronger! The Olympics are coming to Milton! That is, the Family Olympics as part of Milton Reads’ book selection. Come compete against your family and friends in the Family Olympics, Saturday, March 21, from 2:30 – 4:30 in the Keyes Room of the Milton Public Library.  This free children’s program includes crafts, snacks, and games. All ages welcome, with parent or caregiver. No registration required – just drop in! May the best competitor win. . .

This season, the selection for Milton Reads, the town-wide read, is The Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. The book and Olympics-related materials have been immensely popular, and the library has acquired many more copies, including e-copies, of the book. Check it out from the library!

This free event is sponsored by Friends of the Milton Library with children’s librarian Miss Sara (Sara Truog).
