At last Thursday’s Planning Board meeting two articles slated for spring town meeting had a hearing. One concerned Thayer Nuresry. The other was a discussion of an article that will allow for attached condominium residential developments (ACRD).

“Inside the Trial Process” topic at Beth Shalom
Trial attorney Russ Pollock will be the guest speaker at the next Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills Brunch Speaker Series on Sunday morning, March 2nd (postponed from December), at the Pierce Middle School in Milton. His topic will be “Voir Dire and Trial: The Anatomy of Jury Selection and the Trial Process.” The brunch and talk are open to the public.

At last Thursday’s meeting of the Planning Board there were hearings scheduled for 7 articles that will appear in the Annual Town Meeting Warrant. Two were discussed, both citizens petitions. One would permit Thayer Nursery to operate their landscaping, nursery, and snow removal operations from their Hillside Street location.

Celtic Songs and Stories with Singer and Instrumentalist Jeff Snow at Milton Public Library
On Saturday, March lst at 2 PM, singer and guitarist Jeff Snow will entertain in a one-hour concert at the library with Celtic songs and stories, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. Much of the history of Scotland, England and Ireland will be told in music, and his performances both educate and delight the audience.

Broadway dream closer for native of Milton
