Ledge gives way to ester: An eatery move in Lower Mills

Ledge, the Lower Mills restaurant that was sold last year, shut its doors for the final time on Sunday afternoon. The eatery will undergo modest renovations over the next month as the new owners – led by veteran restaurant manager Eleanor Arpino – take charge and train new staff. (Read the full story here.)
MPL to host show of paintings by Therese Desmond
The Milton Public Library will be hosting local painter Therese Desmond in the Wotiz Gallery during the month of March, starting on the 2nd. An open reception with refreshments will also be held on Saturday, March 8th from 2 to 4 PM in the gallery.

There is a nifty public display of hearts in the Eliot and Central Avenue commercial area courtesy of Artspace Milton. The hearts were created by students from Thacher Montessori, The Village School, Delphi Academy & Artspace staff (note – I am affiliated with Artspace). The will likely be coming down later this afternoon in advance of the storm.
Curry College suspends student accused of sexual misconduct

The Curry College student accused of sexual misconduct has been suspended from the school until at least 2016.
“Robert ‘Troy’ Jones has been suspended from the College as a result of the College’s investigation and conduct process, and [he] is unable to petition for reinstatement until August 2016,” Curry College Communication Director Fran Jackson said in an emailed statement. (Read the full story here.)

“Rabbit Hole” to be performed by MHS Dramatic Society
Please save the date! On Wednesday, Feb. 26th at 7 pm, “Rabbit Hole,” is being performed by the MHS Dramatics Society. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. This is a student-led production and it will be co-directed by MHS seniors Garrett Sager and Amy Savino. Many thanks to Dr. Sheila Walsh and Eileen Mullen, advisors for the Dramatics Society.
