Fuller Village Welcomes “Chronicle’s” Ted Reinstein

The Fuller Village Benevolent Fund is pleased to present an evening with journalist and author Ted Reinstein on Tuesday, March 18th at 7:00pm in the Function Room at 1372 Brush Hill Rd.  Ted will discuss his book  New England Notebook: One Reporter, Six States, Uncommon Stories.  Ted Reinstein is a longtime, award-winning reporter for “Chronicle,” Boston’s celebrated—and the nation’s longest-running—nightly TV newsmagazine.

It looked like any pair of basketball sneakers sitting just in front of Milton’s bench as they took on New Mission at TD Garden in the Division 2 Emass. Finals on Tuesday night. The size 12, white Nike Hyperfuse’s with the red and black trim weren’t just an extra pair kicking around for the Wildcats but a rallying point, a reminder, a remembrance and even a dream come true. Milton’s Neville Girls in National Country Music Competition

Kelli and Kaitlin Neville are in Tennessee to compete In for a  North America County Music Associations International (NACMAI) titles. The girls were both NECMO 2013 Country Star Search winners and will be competing with winners from other U.S. states and Canada for national titles at NACMAI Country Music Week.

There is no end to the interesting thing that go on around here. This is one of them. Chef Nuno Alves of Tavolo gave a cooking demonstration at the Fruit Center recently. More than a dozen attendees gathered to learn the secrets to economically healthy eating using up-and-coming grains like farro and quinoa.
