Children’s activities @ MPL: French, Family Songs, Yoga Woga!

Spring is finally here!  While we’re waiting for warmer temperatures, come join us for indoor fun in the Children’s Room at Milton Public Library.  In addition to our regular storytimes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, we have many exciting programs for the young people in your life happening during the week of March 23 – 29:

Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm

Family Songs from the Movies, All Ages

Please join us for a concert program for families with singer and Milton resident Jennie Mulqueen!  Songs from the Movies is Jennie’s latest show featuring favorite tunes from classics like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Grease to more recent hits such as Toy Story.  While much has changed over the last fifty years, enjoying movies as a family has not; these are the songs binding generations, and we need to keep singing them together!  A highly interactive family show with some special surprises thrown in, this is one that will engage and entertain all at once.  Registration is required.

Don’t forget to check the library web calendar for a listing of the many programs we offer year-round.  Information about and registration for all of our programs can always be found on our online calendar at www.miltonlibrary.org, or by calling the Children’s Room at 617-898-4957 during business hours. Please contact the Children’s Room if you have questions about any of our programs or services.
