Vera and David Denmark knew what they wanted: a house in Milton, with plenty of room for children. It had to be renovated, move-in ready, in their price range, and on a street with a neighborhood feel.
They picked Milton for the schools, and because the town was about halfway between their jobs, as physicians at area hospitals.(Read the full story here.)

Energi of Peabody has been very good to state Senator Brian A. Joyce. The private company, which sells insurance to the energy industry, has provided enough legal work to help the Milton Democrat more than double the size of his law firm, Joyce Law Group.(Read the full story here.)
Spring has arrived and the Wakefield Estate is very busy preparing for this year’s Dogwood Days festival June 14-21. There IS a lot of work to be done and a Volunteer Day is scheduled May 9th , 9:00 am-noon if you want to pitch in and help!

Recently, State Representative Walter F. Timilty filed several amendments to the budget proposal, introduced by the House Ways and Means Committee for Fiscal Year ’16. Fiscal Year ‘16 will commence on July 1, 2015. In short, Representative Timilty is seeking to add several fiscal items to this proposal,
Several Milton residents have pivotal roles in the cast and crew of Les Miserables, the epic tale of passion, redemption, and revolution, coming soon to Riverside Theatre Works.
Based on the novel by Victor Hugo, Les Miserables is the story of Jean Valjean, sent to prison in 19th-century France for stealing a loaf of bread for his family.
The Boosters are sponsoring a can & bottle drive and a car wash on Saturday, May 2nd to benefit athletic team fundraising. The golf team will run the ‘Cans for Cats’ drive at Milton high school.
The Quincy Choral Society concludes its 2014-2015 season with a performance of music celebrating nature. The concert features For the Beauty of the Earth and All Things Bright and Beautiful by John Rutter, Frostiana by Randall Thompson, Songs of Nature by Antonin Dvorak, and Benedicite by Ralph Vaughn Williams. The soloist for Benedicite is Chelsea Beatty, soprano.
