Last Wednesday night The League of Women Voters hosted their annual candidates debate at Fuller Village and there were actually a few sparks flying around . . . among the Assessor candidates no less!
It’s Margaret, not Meg or Peg, not Margie or Maggie . . . Margaret Eberhardt, plain and direct.
Eberhardt, one of 4 candidates hoping to capture one of the two open seats on the school committee, is all education all the time.

Tammy Murphy announces her candidacy for Town Meeting Member in Precinct One. Murphy lives at 63 Concord Avenue with her husband Tim, three year old daughter Bella, and two dogs.

Tom Palmer has announced his candidacy for a Town Meeting seat in Precinct 1.
Palmer, a well-known environmentalist and author, has lived on Blue Hill Terrace for 22 years with his wife Linda and children Emily and Nathan.
Cheryl Tougias likes a good cup of coffee.
The topic came up in discussing her professional background. Tougias is an architect and founding partner of Spalding Tougias, a firm that often works on structures whose original purpose has fallen out of use.

Murray Regan makes four the official number of candidates running for the two open seats on the School Committee in one of the more interesting election seasons Milton has seen in some time.
Jim Henderson has announced he is running forAssessor.
There are three candidates running for Assessor. Kathleen Heffernan, the incumbent who is running for re-election, will face two challengers, Todd Greenwood and jim Henderson.
Three candidates filed papers for the open seat on the Board of Selectmen: Bob Sweeney, Steven Fruzzetti, and Kathy Fagan, the incumbent. As reported in the Milton Times yesterday, Mr. Frezzetti has made the decision not to run.
Glenn Pavlicek whose term on the School Committee is about to expire has made his intentions clear. In a letter to the community, Pavlicek announced he is running for re-election.
