Tom Palmer has announced his candidacy for a Town Meeting seat in Precinct 1.

Palmer, a well-known environmentalist and author, has lived on Blue Hill Terrace for 22 years with his wife Linda and children Emily and Nathan. Tom has been a leader in the preservation of green space in Milton. He is past president of the Friends of the Blue Hills, and a current employee of the Neponset River Watershed Association. He has worked on several key projects to maintain the character of his neighborhood, including advocating for the preservation of Tucker School as a neighborhood school.

“I love the diversity and residential character of Precinct 1, and hope to be able to carry the opinions of my neighbors to Town Meeting,” Palmer said.
