This is the fourth and last in a series of posts that recognize officers of the Milton Police Department who have been officially commended for their service over the past couple of years. (Here are Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3). There are three levels of commendation that may be conferred on officers by the Chief of Police. They are Excellence in Police Service, Diligence to Duty, and Extraordinary Police Action. We acknowledged two officers in the previous post. With respect and admiration, here is one more:

The Milton School Administration recently posted a number of documents to their web site. One of these documents current class sizes across all six Milton schools. You can find that document here.
At the last week’s meeting of the Board of Selectmen, an attorney for Quarry Hills made it clear that they would contest the town’s ability to access the site for construction of a wind turbine. They believe that the turbine will have a detrimental impact on their business, the Granite Links Golf Course.

Jim Henderson has announced he is running forAssessor.
There are three candidates running for Assessor. Kathleen Heffernan, the incumbent who is running for re-election, will face two challengers, Todd Greenwood and jim Henderson.
Representatives of the Granite Links Golf club appeared before the Board of Selectmen last week to present their concerns regarding the construction of a wind turbine near the golf course.
They contend that the turbine is a “monstrosity” that unfairly “punishes them and no one else” because they do not receive the same setbacks as other abutters.
