Share Your Family Photos with the Mass. Memories Road Show
Milton residents can become a part of Massachusetts¹ history by contributing family photos to the Mass. Memories Road Show, a statewide digital archive based at UMass Boston.
On May 12, 2012, current and former residents of Milton are invited to bring to the Road Show up to three photos that represent themselves, their families and/or their community, whether very recently or generations ago.
Five Milton girls of Ursuline Academy work to help the Children’s Well Being Foundation
Five Ursuline Academy students of Milton have set up collection boxes at Milton Town Hall and St. Elizabeth Church to benefit the poor of Costa Rica in conjunction with the “Children’s Well Being Foundation” (CWB). This organization helps the poor of Costa Rica by gathering basic supplies to improve the lives of these people with special focus on the children.

Only 3 for Clerk as Conlin drops out of race
David Conlin a candidate for Town Clerk notified the Clerk’s office that he was withdrawing his name from the ballot. Yesterday was the last day for candidates to witdraw from a race. They were required to notifiy the Clerk in writing which Mr. Conlin did.
There are now three candidates: Susan Galvin, Mike Joyce, and Marion McEttrick

Create comic books – in French!
Artspace Milton is offering art classes on creating comic books, in French! Bande Dessinee. A class for children in Gr 1-3 is held from 9:30 – 11:00 at the Milton Public Library beginning 3/24. A class for students in Gr 4-5 is from 11 – 12:30 starting same date. Classes run for 8 weeks. Learn more here!

Milton Speaks Forum provides town opportunity to hear the candidates
Last night candidates for town wide seats including Selectmen, Library Trustee, Town Clerk, Assessor, and Planning Board appeared before a panel of local news people to answer questions about themselves, the issues, and the reasons they are running for office.
Fire torches Milton home

Firefighters and emergency personnel are working to put out a three-alarm fire that tore through a home on Canton Avenue in Milton this evening.

Local police still get full Quinn Bill pay
