Forgetfulness by Billy Collins
The name of the author is the first to go
followed obediently by the title, the plot,
the heartbreaking conclusion, the entire novel
which suddenly becomes one you have never read, never even heard of,
St. Mary of the Hills School took time to reflect during Holy Week with two important re-enactments for Easter. On Wednesday, April 1st, the 3rd Grade class performed “The Last Supper” in which Jesus served his last meal with the 12 Disciples. On Holy Thursday, the 4th grade class celebrated The Stations of the Cross.

Last night the Board of Selectmen extended the demolition date for the Hendries building — and no, that is not an April Fool’s joke. The new deadline, which is the 6th extension, is April 30th. At this rate one might think it’s likely to become a candidate for the National Register of Historic Places.

YARD SALE. This Saturday, April 4, the Milton High School Rugby team is holding a multi-family Yard Sale at Cunningham Hall, 8:00am – 1:00pm. Run Milton Will Bring Running Community Together to Support the Friends of the Milton Council on Aging Transportation Fund
After speaking with the Milton Police Department, the Run Milton Committee has decided to postpone this year’s half-marathon event to Sunday, Oct. 4 (from April 12).

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton (BID-Milton) has named Stephanie L. Truesdell, vice president of philanthropy and communications.
In her new position, Ms. Truesdell will oversee BID-Milton’s Development and Public Relations Offices.
