News from BI Deaconess Milton
Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton (BID-Milton) has named Stephanie L. Truesdell, vice president of philanthropy and communications.
In her new position, Ms. Truesdell will oversee BID-Milton’s Development and Public Relations Offices. She will be responsible for all fundraising activities and assume a prominent position in developing a robust planned giving program for the hospital. She will also oversee the hospital’s marketing, internal and external communications and community benefits programs.
“We are very fortunate to have a fundraising professional with Stephanie’s experience join the hospital’s senior leadership team,” said Peter Healy, president and CEO of BID-Milton. “Strong philanthropic support of the hospital and its mission will be vital as we continue to develop new programs and services to improve the community’s health.”
Prior to joining BID-Milton, Ms. Truesdell was director of development and campaign manager for Milton Academy. She also served as assistant director of leadership gifts, director of law school funds and associate director of development for the Harvard Law School Fund.
Ms. Truesdell received her Bachelor of Arts from Brown University. She also earned a Master of Education in Administration, Planning and Social Policy from Harvard University.

Ms. Truesdell resides in Milton with her husband and daughter.
