Discover the history and culture of Sicilian wine with Bill Nesto and Frances Di Savino, authors of The World of Sicilian Wine, in the Keys Community Room of the Milton Public Library, on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 2pm, when they share the story of Sicilian wine from its ancient roots to its modern evolution in both words and images.
All trash and recycling collections have been cancelled for Friday, 01/03/14 because of snow. Due to the New Years Holiday, Thursday’s collections will now take place on Saturday, 01/04/14. Friday’s collection will take place on Monday, 01/06/14, and all collections next week will be delayed one day.

Friends of the Blue Hills was founded in 1979 with a mission to preserve and protect the Blue Hills Reservation. Thirty-five years later, the organization is still a conservation group working to ensure future generations can enjoy all the Blue Hills has to offer, but they are equally committed to encouraging the community to enjoy the Reservation today.

Senator Joyce invites constituents to come learn the legislative process
Senator Brian A. Joyce has announced that the 72nd Citizens’ Legislative Seminar (CLS) will be held this spring on Tuesday, March 4 and Wednesday, March 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the State House.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning beginning at 4:00am tomorrow morning and lasting until 10:00 am Friday. You can learn more here. Notice on school closings can be found on Milton PS home page.
Milton resident and BC law student Mike Joyce found his way to Shreveport for the Independence Bowl where the BC Eagles took on the Arizona Wildcats. The game did not end so well for the Eagles.
