Fontbonne’s Opening Liturgy marks the start the 2012 school year

Fontbonne Academy in Milton officially opened this morning for the new school year, beginning with its traditional Opening Liturgy. Father Gerry McKeon, S.J. of Boston College High School celebrated the Mass, focusing the Liturgy on “loving God and neighbor without distinction.”

Squeezebox Stompers to perform at MPL

The Milton Public Library will present a family concert on Saturday, September 29th by the talented group known as the “The Squeezebox Stompers.” This fabulous zydeco/cajun band does swing and swamprock in the best possible way, bringing their listeners the fun sounds of New Orleans and Mardi Gras.

Repair work to close East Milton bridge

Repair work will close the Wood Street bridge in East Milton beginning Friday, Sept. 7.
