ZBA overrules Building Commissioner on Hillside property

Last night the Board of Appeals overruled an enforcement order by the Building Commissioner. The order was regarding an accessory structure on the property of Esther Jepson. The structure, a barn, had been built out and was now housing her son and his family. The work had been done in violation of a covenant signed by the Jepsons that promised the property would not be split up into two buildable lots.

Teens’ Top Ten Nominees Now Available at the Milton Public Library

Every spring, the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) releases the list of nominees for the Teens’ Top Ten List. Teens across the country are encouraged to read the list of 25 books to take part in voting for their ten favorite books of the previous year in August and September and the winning titles will be announced via a webcast during Teen Read Week in October. In the past, over 10,000 teens nationwide voted for their favorites!
