Forry wins State Senate seat – setting up special election for State Representative. District includes Milton Precincts 1 and 2.

Linda Dorcena Forry experienced a historic win Tuesday when she was elected to the “Southie seat” of the Massachusetts State Senate. She is the first Haitian American to be elected to the Senate and the first woman from the district. This opens up her seat in the house where she has been the Representative from the 12th Suffolk district which includes Precincts 1 & 2 of Milton.
