The Milton Players’ fall show, “Inherit the Wind”, opens on Friday, October 31st. This play is the dramatic fictionalized version of the Scopes Monkey trial that rocked a small town and the nation. The play inspired four award-winning movies of the same title.
MassDOT Notice of a Public Hearing
A Design Public Hearing will be held by MassDOT to discuss the proposed improvements project under the “Safe Routes to School” program for the Glover Elementary School in Milton, MA.
The Milton Public Library’s teen book club has selected The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefavter as its November pick. “Nineteen-year-old returning champion Sean Kendrick competes against Puck Connolly, the first girl ever to ride in the annual Scorpio Races, both trying to keep hold of their dangerous water horses long enough to make it to the finish line.”

Early Monday afternoon, I received a text message: “We lost Chris.”
The day before that I was huffing and puffing my way up Milton Hill along with many others in a collective show of support for Chris Lynch and his family. The community’s collective love, good will and support for Chris and his family was heartwarming. Today is heartbreaking.
