Parish high schoolers S.T.E.A.M. off to New Orleans
A group of socially conscious high schoolers from the parishes of St. Elizabeth’s, St. Agatha’s, and St.Mary’s of the Hills left yesterday for on a service trip to New Orleans, a city still in recovery from a devastating natural disaster. They left in two groups.

Fontbonne student finalist for social justice scholarship
Milton native and Fontbonne Academy senior, Betsy O’Brien ’11, is a scholarship finalist in John Carroll University’s Arrupe Scholars Program. John Carroll, Cleveland’s Jesuit University, offers this scholarship to admitted students with a demonstrated commitment to social justice.
Blue Hills Summer Camp 2011
Summer Nature Explorations is an educational nature day camp operated by Mass Audubon’s Blue Hills Trailside Museum and the DCR. The camp is located atop scenic Chickatawbut Hill, the second highest peak in the Blue Hills Reservation.

If elected Selectman, Duffy intends to stay on Planning Board
In a brief conversation with Planning Board member Eddie Duffy, candidate for Selectmen, Mr. Duffy stated that if elected Selectman, he intends to continue to serve on the Planning Board for at least a year. He gave the following reason why.
Final RFP for Stoughton Land published
The Board of Selectmen have formally issued the RFP for proposals on the Governor Stoughton Land. The RFP, which became available on Monday, February 14th requires interested parties to submit their proposals by March 25th. There will be a pre-proposal conference on March 1 @ 10:00AM in the Cronin Conference Room.
