Dedham and Randolph concerned about FAA flight path

Recent articles speak to quite a bit of concern over the FAA’s proposal to alter flight paths. Residents in affected communities are concerned about incessant noise. The Milton Board of Selectmen will be taking up the issue this Thursday at their session which will be held at the Council on Aging. Here are some articles reporting other towns’ concerns:

Community greets new library director

Yesterday afternoon residents stopped by the Keys Community Room to greet the new library director, Will Adamczyk. Mr. Adamczyck took the helm at the beginning of the year. Milton Library Hosts Financial Education Program for Teens

On Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 3:30 p.m., the Milton Public Library will host “Give Me Some Credit,” a financial education program for middle and high school students. Ms. Money’s “Give Me Some Credit!” is an educational, interactive game show designed to teach students about money, credit and interest.

The FAA has proposed a new departure route from Boston Logan International Airport that would fly directly over Milton, beginning on March 7th.  This flight path will have a significant adverse impact on the quality of life in Milton, particularly for those of you who live near Curry College, Route 138, as well as parts of Canton Avenue and Brush Hill Road.
