Come help us celebrate St. Patrick’s Day a little early on March 2nd at 2 PM at the library and bring the kids! Dublin-born singer, folklorist, and humorist Tom O’Carroll brings a wealth of wit and laughter to his performances of old and contemporary songs and ballads of Ireland. He has a great knowledge of events of Irish history and a keen interest in the music and culture of Ireland’s nomadic people known as Travellers. He will present a family show with a great variety of Irish songs both familiar and obscure.
This program is sponsored by The Friends of the Milton Public Library, will be held in the Keys Community Room (lower level) and light refreshments will be served. It is free and open to the public, and is appropriate for all ages. The Milton Public Library is located at 476 Canton Avenue and for more information, contact Jean Hlady, Adult Services Librarian, at (617) 698-5757.
