Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton is currently looking for additional volunteers to help enhance the quality of patient care and to provide support services for the professional staff.
There is currently a need for adult volunteers to assist in the hospital’s Emergency Room Concierge program, Highland reception desk, and soon-to-open Orthopaedic Center. Volunteers will be asked to perform a variety of tasks including greeting and escorting patients, answering phones, delivering materials throughout the hospital, and assist in other errands and special projects as needed.
Volunteers are needed for the following days and times:
Emergency Room: Mondays after 3 p.m., Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 1-4 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and any time on Sunday.
Highland reception desk: Weekday mornings from 8-12:30 p.m., afternoons from 12:30-4:00 p.m., evenings from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday evenings from 4-8 p.m.
Orthopedic Center: Weekday mornings from 8-12:30 p.m., afternoons from 12:30-4:00 p.m., evenings from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
