Nomination papers are available from the Town Clerk for all elected offices including but not limited to Selectman, School Committee, Planning Board, Library Trustee, Cemetery, Health, and Town Meeting Members. About 50% of sitting town meeting members have not returned their cards indicating they are running for re-election. If not you, who?

The envelope, please! Movie critics Ty Burr and Wesley Morris return with lively banter and predictions for the popular “Handicapping the Oscars” program. On Wednesday, February 20th, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in the Keys Community Room (lower level) of the Milton Public Library.
Steel & Rye, Abby Park get attention
Milton’s restaurants are garnering quite a bit of attention lately. Steel & Rye was reviewed in last Sunday’s Globe. Yesterday NECN chatted with the Abby Park’s chef, Tony DeRienzo, who is also a mixed martial arts competitor. All school art show reception draws a crowd

Last Saturday an art reception in the Keys Room of the Milton Public Library drew a diverse crowd. The one of a kind show featured student art work from almost all of Milton’s public and private schools. St. Mary’s of the Hills, Delphi Academy, Thacher Montessori, the Cunningham, Collicot, Glover, and Tucker elementary schools, the upper and lower schools of Milton Academy, and the Pierce Middle School are all represented.

Milton’s Bill Neville in the running to be the next PA announcer at Fenway

According to his mom, it wasn’t long after Bill Neville learned to talk that he took to wandering around his home announcing Wheel of Fortune. One thing led to another and now some twenty years later Mr. Neville is one of 35 finalists vying to succeed Carl Beane as the next voice of Fenway Park.
