Bike Milton to lead bicycle tour of Milton gardens as part of The Garden Conservancy’s Open Days Program.

The Garden Conservancy works to preserve America’s finest gardens for the education and enjoyment of the public. On Saturday, June 8, five Milton members of the Garden Conservancy will participate in the Open Days program, where members show their gardens to visitors.

Forbes House to hold 2nd annual Plein Air paint out & sale

The Forbes House Museum will host its second annual Plein Air Paint Out and Wet Paint Sale on Saturday, 15 June 2013.

Beginning at 9am, New England artists will create landscape paintings on Milton Hill, including Governor Hutchinson’s Field and the Neponset River Marshes.

We often tell you that each resident plays an important role with the Milton Police Department. In the past several days, there has been several residential break-ins . Each involved a Milton home. (3) occurred on Sunday afternoon. The suspect in this case was intercepted inside a Centre St, home by a resident.

Pierce Students Enjoy Tee Time

Students from Mrs. MacElhaney’s classroom at Pierce Middle School recently spent time at the Harmon Club in Rockland, where they experienced a day of golf and fitness.

Public notice: Mosquito spraying

The Norfolk County Mosquito Control Project (NCMCP) will be conducting weekly ground based spraying on Thursday’s late evening between sunset and midnight based on resident’s requests and mosquito activity monitoring, weather permitting.

During the daylight hours on June 4, there was a B&E in to a home on Cabot Street. This is the first reported Break in this neighborhood in a very long time. The suspect entered through a rear door by tearing the screen.
