News release from the Forbes House Museum

The Forbes House Museum will host its second annual Plein Air Paint Out and Wet Paint Sale on Saturday, 15 June 2013.

Beginning at 9am, New England artists will create landscape paintings on Milton Hill, including Governor Hutchinson’s Field and the Neponset River Marshes. From 4-5pm, the wet paintings will be offered for sale to the public; they will be on display in the Museum galleries and south porch.

Nineteen artists are presently registered to participate in the day long event. There is still time for artists to participate in the Paint Out. To register, visit the FHM website to download the registration form at guidelines at www.forbeshousemuseum.org/calendar.html.

This event is made possible through a collaboration between the Forbes House Museum and the New Hampshire Plein Air Artists group. The event is open to all artists; any/all painting mediums are welcome.

Registration fee is $10 for non-members; $5 for members of NH Plein Air Artists and Forbes House Museum.
