Students from Mrs. MacElhaney’s classroom at Pierce Middle School recently spent time at the Harmon Club in Rockland, where they experienced a day of golf and fitness.

Mr. Gregory Simeone, the owner of The Harmon Club, invited the students from this classroom to visit the club as part of a field trip. His staff welcomed the students with open arms and gave them a tour of the facility. Harmon Club trainers showed each of the students the proper way to stretch before physical sports such as golf. The golf pro then showed each of them students how to putt. Each of the students were given the opportunity to use the club’s practice facilty to hone their putting skills. The morning was concluded with a wonderful luncheon that the club staff prepared especially for this group.

The faculty and students from Pierce Middle School are very grateful to Mr. Simeone and the Harmon Club for this experience.
