Today (10/2) Collicot PTO holding Closet Sale!

Fill your children’s bookshelves and closets with bargains aplenty from the 4th annual Collicot PTO closet sale.

Donations of gently-used children’s books and clothing with no rips, stains or tears may be dropped off 7 am to 6 pm Oct 1 at Cunningham Hall. Infant to teen size children’s clothing welcome.

WHERE: Cunningham Hall, 75 Edgehill Rd $1 admission.

WHEN: Octber 2 from 9:00am – 1:00pm.

Medical Law and Ethics

Fuller Village invites the community to a book launching for the fifth edition of Medical Law and Ethics for Medical Office Professionals on Thursday evening, October 7, 2010, at 7:00pm in the Function Hall at the 1372 Brush Hill Rd. Dessert and coffee will be served. The current edition was completed in the spring of 2010 and entered the textbook market this fall.

Gluten-free Cooking Class

Whether you are gluten intolerant or just want to find new and healthy alternatives to wheat, this class will focus on sides and desserts featuring alternative grains which offer tasty new options for you and your family.

Things are looking up atop Great Blue Hill! Enjoy the amazing view, fascinating history and fun activities at the oldest continually operating Weather Observatory in the country. Join us for an open house and fun festival for all ages. Free admission to events.

Wine Tasting & Fundraiser for Milton Animal League

The Milton Animal League will be holding a fundraiser at Fuller Village from 7:00 – 9:00pm. Proceeds will go to the fund to rebuild the animal shelter. All are invited to join them for an evening of “Wine tasting and Jewels!”. Tickets are $25.00 and will be available at the door.

MHS Parent Program: Depression Prevention Program

This Thursday night, September 23, from 7:00-8:00 pm at the Milton High School Auditorium, the Milton High School Student Support Team in partnership with Children’s Hospital will present Dr. Nadja Reilly, Director of the Depression Prevention Initiative and a preview of the documentary “Break Free From Depression”, part of this year’s Health Curriculum at MHS.
