Neighbors and friends will be gathering to learn how they can go on a Low Carbon Diet.
Coordinated by Sustainable Milton, folks will be banding together to form Eco-Teams and learning how to reduce their carbon footprint that their households create. The Low Carbon Diet is a program that teaches folks how to conserve energy in a variety of ways. There are a number of benefits including significant cost savings. Sarah Mills of Sustainable Milton states that families on the low carbon diet stand to save between $300 and $700 a year.
The Low Carbon Diet is a book by David Gershon. There are copies at the Milton Public Library. The library also has Killawatt devices available that will measure energy usage.
