Fuller Village, an active senior living community,  is hosting an Open House and warmly welcomes you to stop by!

Community Mtg to be held for East Milton Traffic Study

Howard, Stein, Hudson Associates, the firm developing a plan to address the parking situation in East Milton will be holding a community meting do discuss the status of the project. The meeting will provide an opportunity for residents and businesses to give their thoughts and opinions on how to enhance the district. You can learn more at the project website here.

Public Meeting to discuss Houghton Pond Bathhouse design

The Patrick-Murray Administration announced the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will hold a public meeting on October 27, 2010, to discuss the proposed design for a new bathhouse and walkway at Houghton’s Pond in the Blue Hills Reservation.

Concert: Joel LaRue Smith Trio to peform at library

Joel LaRue Smith, a talented pianist and Milton resident, will perform with his jazz trio at the Milton Public Library. Mr. Smith has been Director of Big Band & Jazz Studies at Tufts University since 1996 and has toured extensively throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia and the Caribbean.

Sudanese refugee to share experience at Milton school Oct. 19

Franco Majok, one of the “Lost Boys,” will speak about his experience as a Sudanese refugee at the Fontbonne Academy’s Auditorium on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 2:30 p.m. The talk is open to the public and will have a question and answer session following Majok’s presentation.

Milton Hospital Open House: Meet the newest physicians!

Milton Hospital invites the community to come and meet and speak with the hospital’s newest physicians, who bring medical expertise in various medical specialties. Basic health screenings will also be available. In addition, attendees may bring food donations, which will support the Milton Food Pantry and Quincy’s Interfaith Social Services.
