Milton Hospital invites the community to come and meet and speak with the hospital’s newest physicians, who bring medical expertise in various medical specialties. Basic health screenings will also be available. In addition, attendees may bring food donations, which will support the Milton Food Pantry and Quincy’s Interfaith Social Services.

Morrissey, President of Milton Hospital. “The local community will truly benefit from the medical expertise offered by this group of physicians, and we look forward to providing outstanding hospital care for their patients and growing with their practices.”
Milton Hospital, a clinical affiliate of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center providing community-based health care, today announced the “Harvest Open House and Food Drive”, taking place on Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 10am – 12 noon in the Highland Lobby at Milton Hospital.
Physicians on hand will include:
Dorina Abdulah, MD
Dr. Abdulah is a primary care physician practicing at Milton Hospital and Randolph Medical Associates. She has been involved with local organizations, speaking and educating the community regarding many health issues.
Annemarie Armani, MD
Dr. Armani joins Milton Hospital as a primary care physician working with the practice of South Shore Internal Medicine, located in Milton Hospital’s medical office building. She has served as Managing Editor of Critical Pathways in Cardiology: A Journal of Evidence-Based Medicine.
Mary Louise Ashur, MD
A resident of Milton, Dr. Ashur brings her expertise as an internist to a recently opened office at 88 Wharf Street, Milton Landing. Dr. Ashur is an associate professor of health services at Boston University School of Public Health and a lecturer at Tufts University Medical School.
Shadi Badrieh, MD
Dr. Badrieh specializes in endocrinology and has joined the practice of William Cobb, MD, in Milton Hospital’s medical office building. He conducted his fellowship training in the areas of endocrinology, diabetes and hypertension and is a member of The American College of Internal Medicine, The Endocrine Society, The American Diabetes Association and The National Lipid Association. Most recently, Dr. Badrieh served as the Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at The University of Arizona in Tucson.
Charlene Chao, MD
Dr. Chao has joined the surgical staff at Milton Hospital and the practice of Gregory Kechejian, MD, in the hospital’s medical office building. She has participated in extensive surgical research, covering such topics as laparoscopic bowel surgery, breast cancer, and traumatic abdominal injuries. Most recently, she completed her fellowship in advanced laparoscopy/bariatric surgery at New York Hospital at Queens, New York.
Joseph P. DeAngelis, MD
Dr. DeAngelis joined the orthopedic staff and specializes in sports-related injuries and disorders of the knee and shoulder. His clinical expertise includes knee reconstruction, shoulder restoration procedures and shoulder replacement. Dr. DeAngelis evaluates and treats sports-related problems, as well as degenerative conditions.
Ashley B. Yeats, MD
Dr. Yeats serves as the Associate Director for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Milton Hospital. He serves as an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Tuft’s University School of Medicine. Previously, Dr. Yeats held the position of Assistant Chief of Emergency Medicine and Clinical Director at Brigham & Women’s Falkner Hospital.
Attendees to the Harvest Open House are encouraged to bring food donations to support Quincy’s Interfaith Social Services and the Milton Food Pantry. In particular, these organizations are seeking donations of canned fruit, vegetables or soup, jelly, peanut butter, instant coffee or tea bags, juice, pasta, cereal, or healthy snacks for school lunches.
