Although its Bay State Conference winning streak is now in its sixth straight season and counting, coach Mike Glennon’s squad has run into some close calls along the way. Lynch clinches – D’Alessandro concedes; Burr tops Livingston; Morrisey dominates DA race
Mac D’Alessandro conceded to Congressman Lynch; but the Milton resident and candidate for Congress, Mac D’Alessandro, did not go quietly into that good night. Speaking to a gathering of supporters at Abby Park restaurant in East Milton D’Alessandro said,”We sent a message tonight . . . and he (Lynch) heard the message.”

Ulin Rink is a done deal – opens 9/15
The Board of Selectmen have signed a contract with Curry College to operate the Ulin Rink for the next three-year. The rink is scheduled to open tomorrow (9/15).
Needham 35, Milton 20: Rocket football surges to season-opening win

MHS Marching Band takes the field!
Last Saturday the MHS Marching Band made its debut at the opening home game between the Wildcats and the Needham Rockets.
The outcome of the game was not a pleasant one for Milton. They were defeated 35-20; but the band provided color, spirit, and fun! Their next game is at home against Norwood on 9/16.
