The Board of Selectmen have signed a contract with Curry College to operate the Ulin Rink for the next three-year. The rink is scheduled to open tomorrow (9/15).Curry College has agreed to invest $185,000 in capital improvements over the term of the agreement ($145,000 year 1 and $20,000 years 2 and 3). There is no guaranteed money from Curry to the town. However, should Curry realize a profit those proceeds would go to the town. Lastly, the skating groups are guaranteed ice time for the life of the contract consistent with what they have enjoyed in the past.
