Eliza O’Donnell, a rising 8th grader at PIERCE MIDDLE SCHOOL, received a Grand Prize RING Award for Photography 7-9 in the first of what soon will be many RING Awards presented by Ringling College of Art + Design, in Sarasota, FL.

Black Velvet Band Weds, 8/6 cancelled

The Black Velvet Band Sponsored by Representative Walter Timilty has been cancelled for tomorrow night (Weds). It has been rescheduled for Aug 27th.

Concert will be held from 6:00PM – 7:30PM  at the Baron Hugo Gazebo on the Town Green at the Town Hall

Timilty advocates for Trailside Museum

Representative Walter F. Timilty, a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, announced that on July twenty- ninth the House of Representatives voted to override the gubernatorial veto of Line Item2810-0100, of the “DCR Seasonals” budget.

Works of Abraham Solzman on display at MPL

During the month of August, the Milton Public Library will host artist Abraham Salzman, a Milton resident, in the Wotiz Gallery on the first floor. Mr. Salzman was born in Cuba from Russian parents. He has evolved his own brand of artwork into something he calls “Imaginary Expressionism.”

Sergeant Dan Clark, the Singing Trooper, will perform on Thursday, August 21st at Fuller Village. As a former United States Marine and retired Massachusetts State Trooper he has lived the motto “God, Country, Corps!”
