It was from Eleanor Reidy, who lived in Quincy most of her life, from age 8 until she was nearly 90. The East Congregational Church will be holding a “Blue” Christmas service, a simple service designed for those who have difficulty embracing the excitement and heightened celebrant joy of the season due to the experience of loss over the past years.
Boy Scouts launch wreath sale
If you need a wreath, the boy scouts can supply it. They are selling wreaths today and next week end at two locations: the Gas Station, 940 Canton Ave., Cunningham Park along Edgehill Road and at St. Mary’s of the Hills Church from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
