Food Pantry seeks volunteers to make food pick ups

The Milton Food Pantry is looking for a colunteer or two to make picks ups at teh Greater Boston Food Bank.

This requires daytime availability twice a month and a large vehicle or truck. This is a critical need for the pantry.

Crane Field in East Milton is getting a bit of a makeover.

Hurley = Selectman & other Election results

In one of the lightest turnouts in memory, Tom Hurley easily defeated Richard Livingston to win a seat on the Milton Board of Selectmen. Hurley, a Milton native, ran a vigorous campaign. Livingston, who grew up in Dorchester, was absent from public view for a long spell due to illness. Hurley carried every precinct.

Milton Young Musicians Festival: 2011 Schedule

The 25th Annual Milton Young Musicians Festival will take place on Saturday, April 30 at Milton High School. The Festival is open to the public: friends, family and teachers are encouraged to come along to support these young musicians.

Milton Hospital Awards Mini Health Grants Program

Milton Hospital recently awarded grants to six community groups to fund projects designed to promote healthy living. The grants will be made possible with funds raised from the Second Annual Milton Hospital Community Health Walk, scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 10 a.m. starting at Milton Hospital.

Spotlight Theater Camp to debut this summer at Pierce Middle School

The Milton Public Schools announces Spotlight Summer Theater Camp at Pierce Middle School. Spotlight explores the exciting world of theater arts through a variety of activities, projects and performances. In each session, children are guided through the play production process, from the first reading of the script to the final bows.
