Dr. Karen Spaulding named new principal of Cunningham Elementary School

he Cunningham School has a new principal! Dr. Karen Spaulding will take the reins as of July 1st.
Spaulding, who has been with the Milton Public Schools since 2008, arrives at the Cunningham via the Pierce Middle School where she is currently the Assistant Principal.
Breakfast at Brookwood Farm
Last Saturday Brookwood Farm held a pancake breakfast and plant sale to kick of the 2010 growing season. The weather was perfect. The pancakes were perfect. The setting was perfect. It was just that kind of morning.
Letter: Relocated and loved it
Although I fully understand parents’ concerns about possible relocation from their neighborhood school, I was an overflow, relocated kid and loved it.

Milton native dies of heart attack

Milton native James Shields would be a much welcomed guest to a party.
“He was the life of any party he was at,” Shields’ brother, Milton Selectman John Shields, said Sunday. “We are really going to miss him.” (Read the full story here.)
A wake will be held Wednesday at Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home and a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Church.
