Milton lost an exemplar of community service this past week, David Jeffries.

Mr. Jeffries was an accomplished scientist, sailer, active environmentalist, and a town meeting member for over 50 years; but that’s not all.

Mr. Jeffries was served on the Warrant Committee for 4 years, 2 as chairman. He was a member of the school committee for 9 years and he chaired the energy committee. His served the town well.  We extend our sympathy to Ms. Jeffries and all his family and friends.
