Heads up! The Milton Foundation for Education will be hosting their annual celebration on Saturday March 14th at the Quincy Marriott Hotel. This year’s funfest is titled “Full Steam Ahead” (Steam = Science, Tech, Engineering, Art, Music). TIckets are $85 per person. This will be a seated event. Think about putting a table together and get ready to purchase tickets.
Obit: Joseph T. DeBesse
Joseph T. DeBesse, age 84, of Milton, passed away January 24th at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Born and raised in Boston, he graduated from Commerce High Class of 1946 and went on to attend Cornell and graduated from Boston University. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and worked for the Internal Revenue Service as a Special Agent in the Criminal Investigation Division for 20 years.
Public Notices DPW – Milton enters State of Emergency – Important Information Regarding the Storm
Town of Milton has entered into a state of emergency effective noon time today. This emergency will remain in effect until further notice.
Parking Ban will be in effect as of 10:00 PM Monday night, and will remain in place until further notice.
Parking of any type of vehicle on any roadway or municipal parking lot during the ban is
subject to ticketing and towing at owners expense.
