We are PLEASED to notify residents and commuters tonight that the Wood Street overpass which has been closed for construction for the past month and a half, has reopened today, ahead of schedule. All detours have been removed and the normal traffic pattern has been restored.

Friday Teen Movie at the MPL

On Dec. 7 at 3 p.m., the Teen Services Department of the Milton Library will show a movie for students in grades 6-12. Teens will have a choice of four movies.

Suspect in home invasion and assault taken into custody

Early today, Milton Police received information that and armed home invasion and assault had taken place in a residence off of Blue Hill River Rd. in this town. The suspect is a thirty seven year old male who has been separated from his girlfriend and their two children for several months. Last night she began receiving communications from him that were threatening.

Family of Milton woman killed in accident after leaving Gillette Stadium sues Kraft Group

An attorney for the Kraft Group, which owns Gillette Stadium and the New England Patriots, argued Tuesday in court that a deadly car crash following a 2008 concert at the stadium is not the company’s fault, and that the deceased driver and passenger and another friend who survived had trespassed and illegally brought alcohol to the tailgating festivities.
