Glover seeking new principal
The Glover Elementary School has posted a position for a principal at Glover Elementary. A job listing was posted on the school web site on April 10th. The principalship at Glover is currently being shared by Stephanie Nephew and Holly Concannon. Ms, Nephew was the principal of Glover until she went on maternity leave.
The Fuller Village White Elephant and Craft Fair is Coming!
The Fair will be held on Saturday, April 27th in the Function Room at 1372 Brush Hill Rd from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Visit the White Elephant Tables and find household goods, decorative items, boutique furnishings and other treasures. At the Knitters Table you will find knit children’s clothing, baby afghans, spring décor and doll outfits.
The DPW Open House celebrates National Public Works Week!
At this fun-filled, free family event, everyone can enjoy food and refreshments as they learn about what the Milton DPW does every day

MATV broadcast schedule for 2013 candidate forums etc
Milton Access Television taped two recent candidate forums. One, the Milton Speaks Candidates night, took place at their studio. The other, the 2013 Milton Matters Candidates Forum took place last Tuesday at Fuller Village. Both are being rebroadcast. On Tuesday, April 16th from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, a member of 7th District Rep. Mike Capuano’s staff will hold office hours At Fuller Village, in the Parlor at 1372 Brush Hill Rd. Constituents are encouraged to stop by with questions or concerns. Congressman Capuano’s staff holds monthly office hours at locations throughout the 7th Congressional District.

Yay! Milton Mites beat Franklin for A2 Championship
Milton won the 2013 South Shore Conference Mite A2 Hockey Championship Title. They played against the Town of Franklin on Sunday April 7, 2013 at the Canton Sportsplex before a sell out crowd. Congrats to the players and coaches.

Through a partnership between Milton Public Schools and the Milton Public Library, textbooks used by math and social studies classes at Milton High School are now available for use at the library.
Milton Library teen book club announces May selection
The Milton Public Library’s teen book club has selected Sickened: the True Story of a Lost Childhood by Julie Gregory as its May pick. Gregory spent much of her childhood in hospitals, being tested, medicated, and operated on, suffering from the effects of a disease that existed only her mother’s mind.
Representative Timilty to hold office hours
Representative Walter Timilty will hold office hours in the Town Hall on Wednesday, April 17th, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Baker Conference Room. Any and all residents of Milton are welcome.
