Thursday March 19, 2015 from 3pm to 5pm, join the after school library club TeenM.A.G. (Music, Art, and Gaming). Once a month, the teen librarian, Amy Rosa, invites any teens in grades 6 to 12 to join her downstairs in the Keys Community Room for open gaming, music, and arts and crafts. Choose from a wide variety of games to play on the library’s Wii, try your hand at the library’s various board games and puzzles, pick your favorite Pandora station to play for background music, create a masterpiece at the arts table, or just hang out with your friends and work on your homework. In honor of the Milton Reads choice Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics by James Daniel Brown, we will be having a teen craft trying our hand at building a ship in a bottle!
Any teens in grades 6-12 are welcome to participate. Please register for this program at www.miltonlibrary.org or please contact Amy Rosa at aboivin@ocln.org to join this new library club or sign up in the teen room after school. Admission is free and sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
