Town Clerk Announces Town Election Schedule
Town Clerk, Susan M. Galvin, is announcing that nomination papers for both Town Wide and Town Meeting Representative Members will be available on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 at the Office of the Town Clerk. The annual Town Election will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. To be placed upon the ballot, Town Wide candidates (incumbents and challengers) must obtain a minimum of 50 signatures from registered voters. Non-incumbent Town Meeting representatives candidates must obtain 10 signatures from the precinct in which they reside. Incumbent Town Meeting representative candidates must return the post card sent to them on or before March 3, 2015 to indicate their candidacy.
Ms. Galvin strongly recommends for all candidates to obtain additional signatures. Nomination papers must be returned to the Board of Registrars at the Office of the Town Clerk for certification by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in order to have your name placed upon the ballot on Tuesday, April 28, 2015

• One SELECTMAN and SURVEYOR OF THE HIGHWAY for a term of three years
• A TOWN CLERK for a term of three years
• A TOWN TREASURER for a term of one year
• One ASSESSOR for a term of three years
• Two SCHOOL COMMITTEE members for a term of three years
• One PARK COMMISSIONER for a term of three years
• One Member of the BOARD of HEALTH for a term of three years
• Three TRUSTEES of the PUBLIC LIBRARY for a term of three years
• Two CONSTABLES for a term of one year (to fill vacancies)
• One TRUSTEE of the CEMETERY for a term of five years
• One TRUSTEE of the CEMETERY for a term of one year
• One HOUSING AUTHORITY for a term of five years
• One HOUSING AUTHORITY for a term of three years
• One PLANNING BOARD member for a term of five years

In addition to nomination papers, the Clerk also has information from the Office of Campaign and Political Finance (OCPF) regarding campaign finance regulations and practices.
