Last Thursday on a dark and dreary night  Blue Hills Bank held a bright and cheery grand opening for their new branch on Adams Street in East Milton. They are advertising themselves as a “community” bank and they appear to be putting their money where their mouth is.

Blue Hills Bank has contributed to a number of Milton non-profits and community organizations. They have contributed to (among others) the Milton 350th, the Milton Library Foundation, and last Thursday presented a check for $10,000 to the Milton Foundation for Education.
