A group of Milton non-profits have gotten together on a couple of occasions to explore ways to better collaborate and communicate with the community they all serve. Robin M. Tagliaferri, Executive Director of the Forbes House Museum, has been helping to move this initiative along. One idea that came from the group was a joint community calendar in which all local organizations could enter their events.
The calendar is in its early stages but is available here. You can find events being sponsored by the Forbes House, and the Milton Art Center. Other organizations include Milton Academy, MIlton Rotary and the Milton Historical Society.
The more non-profits that participate, the move value the calendar will have. We encourage organizations to put a little resource behind this effort. Following is a welcome note from another member of the group Brian Kelley who can help interested organizations get up and running:
